“A wonderful Christmas week at the Old Manor!”
Our family spent a wonderful week here – ten of us in total. The views from the house of the bay and coast are truy amazing. Very relaxing and perfect for watching the surfers. Such a stunning location. Plenty of lovely walks which we enjoyed as the weather was extremely kind to us. The house itself is beautiful, warm, comfortable, light and very spacious and having five bathrooms was an added luxury! Early one morning we had a surprise visit from a young deer walking behind the fence in front of the lounge – amazing sight, totally unexpected. Didn’t see Santa though! We would thoroughly recommend the Old Manor and hope to return in the future. Thank you Suzie and Sarah for a great week!

“Stunning house, great location!”
Stayed here with friends last year and enjoyed it so much I booked a week with family- 8 adults and 4 children ranging fro 10 months to 83 years old!!! We had a fabulous week in this beautiful house. It is so well equipped and tastefully furnished and there was plenty of room for all of us without being on top of each other. The children loved the nearby beach and we have come home with lots of happy memories.

“Beautiful house in a fantastic location”
We stayed here over Christmas and New Year with our extended family – 10 of us in total. The house was extremely comfortable and warm. It was a beautful house, was even nicer than in the pictures. The location was perfect it was wonderful waking up to see the sea in the mornings, there were lots of lovely walks nearby and the house is close enough that you can drive into Edinburgh if you wanted to. The owners were lovely and extremely helpful, they arranged a Christmas tree and even an extra TV a few days before Christmas. The house has everything you could need and I would definitely recommend it.

“How to Celebrate a 70th Birthday with a big “WOW””
From the minute our family opened the front door of The Manor all you could hear was WOW!. I can honestly say that the pictures shown are what you get ..and more. We were blessed with great weather and the scenery from the lounge was out of a picture postcard. The house itself had everything and I really mean everything you could wish for from a superbly kitted out kitchen to games etc in the small lounge (a great room for a wee boy fed up with the adults! mind you the big boys liked it too). We were celebrating my husbands 70th birthday and had themed days – Saturday we all dressed up as pirates and headed to the beach for sandcastle competitions and games and really had great fun at the locals trying to understand what we were up to. On Sunday we celebrated an early Christmas but decided to spare folks our Christmas hats and jumpers. All in all The Manor was turned into our home and come Monday no-one wanted to leave. I can only thank Susie, the owner, for such a beautiful place to celebrate. No doubt we will be back.
